THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EECOJ L 88, 4.4.2011, p. 5 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2011/305/oj. , and in particular Article 22 thereof,

The Annex to Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/450 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Decision.

(1) In accordance with Article 19 of Regulation (EU) No 305/2011, following requests by manufacturers for European Technical Assessments, the organisation of Technical Assessment Bodies has adopted nine European Assessment Documents.

(2) The nine European Assessment Documents relate to the following references for construction products:resettable line-type heat detectors; connectors for tubular sections; service penetrations for pipes through walls and floors; fastening screws for fastening metal members and sheeting to metal or timber structures (superseding technical specification EAD 330046-01-0602); variant: metal injection anchors for use in masonry - anchor groups under fire exposure; variant: bonded fasteners and bonded expansion fasteners for use in concrete - alternative drilling methods, seismic and fire resistance in steel fibre reinforced concrete, variable working life and time-to-failure assessment; bonded screw fasteners for use in concrete (superseding technical specification EAD 332795-00-0601); stainless-steel point connectors for sandwich walls; closure systems for conveyor systems (superseding technical specification EAD 350022-01-1107).

(3) The nine European Assessment Documents satisfy the basic requirements for construction works set out in Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 305/2011. It is therefore appropriate to publish the references to those European Assessment Documents in the Official Journal of the European Union .

(4) The list of references to European Assessment Documents for construction products is published pursuant to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/450Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/450 of 19 March 2019 on publication of the European Assessment Documents (EADs) for construction products drafted in support of Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 77, 20.3.2019, p. 78 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2019/450/oj). . For reasons of clarity, references to new European Assessment Documents should be added to that list.

(5) Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/450 should therefore be amended accordingly.

(6) In order to enable the use of the nine European Assessment Documents as early as possible, so that the manufacturers already holding a European Technical Assessment can place their product on the market, this Decision should enter into force on the day of its publication,

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
