THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2019/128 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 January 2019 establishing a European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) and repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 337/75OJ L 30, 31.1.2019, p. 90 . , and in particular Article 4 thereof,

Mr Stephen VELLA is appointed alternate member of the Management Board of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training in place of Mr Mario CARDONA for the remainder of the current term of office, ending on 31 March 2027 .

(1) By Decision of 28 March 2023 Council Decision of 28 March 2023 appointing members and alternate members of the Management Board of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) (OJ C 116, 31.3.2023, p. 15 ). , the Council appointed members and alternate members of the Management Board of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training for the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2027 .

(2) A seat as alternate member in the government representatives category has fallen vacant as a result of the resignation of Mr Mario CARDONA.

(3) The Government of Malta has designated a candidate for the vacant seat,

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
