THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1922/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 2006 on establishing a European Institute for Gender EqualityOJ L 403, 30.12.2006, p. 9 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2006/1922/oj. , and in particular Article 10 thereof,

Ms Agnese CANEVARI is appointed alternate member of the Management Board of the European Institute for Gender Equality in place of Mr Stefano PIZZICANNELLA for the remainder of the current term of office, ending on 31 May 2028 .

(1) By Decision of 13 May 2025 Council Decision of 13 May 2025 appointing members and alternates of the Management Board of the European Institute for Gender Equality (OJ C, C/2025/2802, 19.5.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/C/2025/2802/oj). , the Council appointed members and alternate members of the Management Board of the European Institute for Gender Equality for the period from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2028 .

(2) A seat as alternate member of the Management Board of the European Institute for Gender Equality has fallen vacant as a result of the resignation of Mr Stefano PIZZICANNELLA.

(3) The Government of Italy has nominated a candidate for the vacant seat,

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
