Rozhodnutí Rady (SZBP) 2026/1235 ze dne 8. června 2026, kterým se mění rozhodnutí (SZBP) 2022/667 o opatření pomoci majícím podobu obecného programu na podporu Africké unie v rámci Evropského mírového nástroje na období 2022–2024

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 28(1) and Article 41(2) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

The Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2022/667 is replaced by the following:

Council Decision (CFSP) 2022/667 of 21 April 2022 on an assistance measure taking the form of a general programme for support to the African Union under the European Peace Facility for the period 2022-2024 (OJ L 121, 22.4.2022, p. 38 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2022/667/oj).

(1) On 21 April 2022 , the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2022/667Council Decision (CFSP) 2022/667 of 21 April 2022 on an assistance measure taking the form of a general programme for support to the African Union under the European Peace Facility for the period 2022-2024 (OJ L 121, 22.4.2022, p. 38 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2022/667/oj). , which established an assistance measure taking the form of a general programme for support to the African Union under the European Peace Facility for the period 2022-2024 (the Assistance Measure).

(2) On 14 April 2026 , the Political and Security Committee entrusted the Economat des Armées with the implementation of part of an action in support of the military component of the African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia, which is to be financed under the Assistance Measure.

(3) The list of entities that may fully or partially implement actions under the Assistance Measure should include the Economat des Armées.

(4) Decision (CFSP) 2022/667 should therefore be amended accordingly,

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
