THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on additives for use in animal nutritionOJ L 268, 18.10.2003, p. 29 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2003/1831/oj. , and in particular Article 13(3) thereof,

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/60 is amended as follows:

(1) Conjugated linoleic acid (t10, c12)-methylester was authorised as feed additive (feed additive concerned) by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/60Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/60 of 5 January 2023 concerning the authorisation of conjugated linoleic acid (t10, c12)-methylester as a feed additive for pigs for fattening and dairy cows (holder of authorisation: BASF SE) (OJ L 5, 6.1.2023, p. 19 , ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg_impl/2023/60/oj). .

(2) The holder of the authorisation for the feed additive concerned, BASF SE, has submitted an application in accordance with Article 13(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 proposing to change the name of the holder of the authorisation for the feed additive concerned to Louis Dreyfus Company Ingredients GmbH.

(3) The proposed change of the terms of the authorisation is purely administrative in nature and does not entail a new assessment of the feed additive concerned. The European Food Safety Authority was informed of the application.

(4) To allow Louis Dreyfus Company Ingredients GmbH to exploit its marketing rights, it is therefore appropriate to change the terms of the authorisation concerned.

(5) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/60 should therefore be amended accordingly.

(6) Since safety reasons do not require the immediate application of the amendments made by this Implementing Regulation, it is appropriate to allow a transitional period during which existing stocks of the feed additive concerned may be used up.

(7) The measures provided for in this Implementing Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed,

(1) in the title, the name BASF SE is replaced by Louis Dreyfus Company Ingredients GmbH;

(2) in the second column of the Annex, the name BASF SE is replaced by Louis Dreyfus Company Ingredients GmbH.

The feed additive concerned, produced and labelled before the date of entry into force of this Regulation in accordance with the rules applicable before that date, may continue to be placed on the market and used until stocks are exhausted.
