(1) Article 3 of Decision of 22 July 2003 provides that the Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work (the Committee) is to consist of three full members for each Member State, there being one representative for each of the national governments, trade unions and employers’ organisations, and that two alternate members may be appointed for each full member.

(2) Full members and alternate members of the Committee are to be appointed by the Council, in accordance with Article 3 of Decision of 22 July 2003 , on the basis of the lists of candidates submitted to it by the Member States.
