Rozhodnutí Rady (SZBP) 2026/1084 ze dne 12. května 2026, kterým se mění rozhodnutí (SZBP) 2021/1143 o vojenské pomocné misi Evropské unie v Mosambiku (EUMAM Mozambique)

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Articles 42(4) and 43(2) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Decision (CFSP) 2021/1143 is hereby amended as follows:

The financial reference amount for the common costs of the Mission for the period from 1 July 2026 until 31 December 2026 shall be EUR 3140000. The percentage of the reference amount referred to in Article 51(2) of Decision (CFSP) 2021/509 shall be 50 % for commitments and 0 % for payments.

The Mission shall end on 31 December 2026 ..

(1) On 25 February 2026 , in the context of the Strategic Review of EUMAM Mozambique, the Political and Security Committee recommended to extend the mandate of the mission for 6 months until 31 December 2026 , and invited the European External Action Service to present a Strategic Assessment in September 2026.

(2) Council Decision (CFSP) 2021/1143OJ L 247, 13.7.2021, p. 93 . should be amended accordingly,

(1) in Article 10, the following paragraph is added:4.The financial reference amount for the common costs of the Mission for the period from 1 July 2026 until 31 December 2026 shall be EUR 3140000. The percentage of the reference amount referred to in Article 51(2) of Decision (CFSP) 2021/509 shall be 50 % for commitments and 0 % for payments. ;

(2) in Article 13, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following:2.The Mission shall end on 31 December 2026 ..

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
