Rozhodnutí Rady (SZBP) 2026/1345 ze dne 15. června 2026, kterým se mění rozhodnutí (SZBP) 2025/2379 o opatření pomoci v rámci Evropského mírového nástroje na podporu ozbrojených sil Čadu

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 28(1) and Article 41(2) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Decision (CFSP) 2025/2379 is amended as follows:

To achieve the objective set out in paragraph 2, the assistance measure shall finance the following types of equipment not designed to deliver lethal force, and the following supplies and services, including technical training, where needed:

(a) infrastructure works on and the refurbishment of the École nationale des sous-officiers d’active de Kalait (ENSOA-KA);

(b) educational equipment for ENSOA-KA;

(c) the redesign of curricula of ENSOA-KA;

(d) a train-the-trainers programme at ENSOA-KA.

The implementation of the activities referred to in Article 1(3) of this Decision shall be carried out by the Économat des Armées..

Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/2379 of 24 November 2025 on an assistance measure under the European Peace Facility to support the Armed Forces of Chad (OJ L, 2025/2379, 25.11.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2025/2379/oj).

(1) On 24 November 2025 , the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/2379Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/2379 of 24 November 2025 on an assistance measure under the European Peace Facility to support the Armed Forces of Chad (OJ L, 2025/2379, 25.11.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2025/2379/oj). , which established an assistance measure under the European Peace Facility to support the Armed Forces of Chad (the assistance measure).

(2) On 15 January 2026 , the Union received a request from Chad to amend the geographical scope of the assistance measure following the relocation of the École nationale des sous-officiers d’active from Koundoul to Kalait.

(3) The designated implementing actor, Économat des Armées, has successfully completed the pillar assessment process and can be entrusted with the implementation of the assistance measure in indirect management.

(4) Decision (CFSP) 2025/2379 should therefore be amended accordingly,

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
